Wood Carving Merit Badge for Scouts. Registration Form

A picture contains a Wood Carving Merit Badge, a small carving knife, and a round carving with the Santa Clara Valley Carvers club acronym.

Save the date: September 18 and 25, 2025, from 7 to 9 PM: Santa Clara Valley Carvers will introduce woodcarving to local Scouts from 11 to 17 years old to earn their Wood Carving Merit Badge. Adult scouts are also welcome.

No more spaces are available for September 2025. The next workshop will be early next year.

Woodcarving Workshop Location

The workshop will be from 7 to 9 PM in the main room, on the first floor.

Requirements

The student must be a registered scout, have earned their Tote’n Chip, and have a blue card approved by their scoutmaster. The uniform is Class-B. It would be helpful if scouts printed out the Wood Carving Merit Badge Workbook and brought it to the course.
