Time: from 7 pm to 9 pm

Location: Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council office, 1900 The Alameda #100, San Jose, CA 95126

Cost: $10 (material fee)

This is a public event.

Registration is required.

Santa Clara Valley Carvers will introduce woodcarving to local Scouts aged 11 to 17 years old to earn their Wood Carving Merit Badge. Adult Scouts are also welcome.

Requirements

The student requirements:

  • Must be a registered scout
  • Have earned their Tote’n Chip
  • Have a blue card approved by their scoutmaster.
  • Wear the Class-B uniform.

It would be helpful if scouts could print the Wood Carving Merit Badge Workbook and bring it to the course.

Registration Form

The participation cost is $10, which covers workshop supplies and is payable onsite (cash or check to Santa Clara Valley Carvers). The venue is available for up to 10 participants only. Please register soon if you would like to participate in the event. You may read about our previous sessions in February 2025 and September 2025.
