What I found most compelling about this book is its preface, which sets a thoughtful tone: the author argues that happiness is closely tied to the work we do, and that even common or humble labor has dignity and meaning. This emphasis on work as both duty and source of fulfillment resonated with me deeply, suggesting that being engaged in making and creating is central to human purpose.
In reading this book, I only selected a few chapters rather than going through it all, focusing on the tools and skills I was most curious about. I wish return to it one day for a more complete read.
