Doug Ryan, a skilled woodworker who had an impressive home shop in Santa Clara, passed away in May 2025, leaving behind an incredible legacy. A huge thank you to the family of Doug Ryan for their generous donation of books and tools to the local carving and turning clubs.
After contacting us, Doug’s family allowed us to collect some of the tools, wood, and books from his estate, which we’ll treasure and put to good use. We added his book collection to our library, which included many woodturning books, and those books are now available to the local woodturning clubs: West Bay Woodturners and Silicon Valley Woodturners.
