February 13 and 20, 2025 – will be introduction to Wood Carving Merit Badge for Scouts from 11 years old to 17. Adult scouters are also welcome. The student must be a registered scout, have earned their Tote’n Chip, and have a blue card approved by their scoutmaster. Uniform is Class-B. It is helpful to have scouts print out the work sheet (see below) and bring to the course.
January 16, 2025 – Wood Carving Name Tags: Join the Santa Clara Valley Carvers for a hands-on mentorship session from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Silicon Valley Monterey Bay for Boy Scouts of America, 1900 The Alameda #100, San Jose. Learn to carve your own handmade name tag using whittling and various wood carving techniques — no prior experience needed!

November Mondays, 2023 – Workshop: carving a snowman. Everyone is welcome on Monday mornings in November from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Adult Recreation Center, Los Gatos, CA.
