This book is a treasure chest of ideas and inspiration for the log sculptor. Many projects are presented in photographs, with detailed development sketches on the facing pages. All working stages of each project are explained in a skeleton working guide, which also includes notes on the design and construction of stands. Beginners of the art of wood sculpture will be aided by the illustrated description of necessary tools and their uses, which is an important feature of the book.
